Luciano’s Garden

I turned my garden into an alternative art space to share art and artists whose work I admire, provide a relaxed atmosphere to interact with art, and cultivate a genuine community.

Renting Eternity

Group Show: Gwyneth Bulawsky, River Garza, Penelope Leggett, Luciano Thomas, Catherine Wang, Zora Zajicek

Exhibition Dates: March 22 — May 3 2026

The earth beneath rented living spaces exists outside of human contracts. Nevertheless, landlords “maintain” land through specific types of upkeep. By removing a section of lawn and creating an absence, Renting Eternity creates a new kind of space. The planting of native wildflowers is accompanied by artworks exploring the interaction between land, people, and eternity.

Semi Manual

Group Show: Talya Petrillo, Lily Pressman, Masha Sheinina, Luciano Thomas

Exhibition Dates: November 9 — December 6 2025

In this world that we live in, the labor we perform is what defines us. Hegemonic structures are in place to determine the type of labor members of society perform, and in turn the access to power each member is given. Explicit and implicit forms of control serve to dictate the type of work that is innate to each type of body. The valuation of the labor has more to do with the bodies that perform it, rather than the nature of the labor itself. Semi Manual subverts societal notions around labor by exploring the relationship between tools and the body. If tools define the nature of the labor, and the labor defines the individual, then the tools become a foundation of our very identity. Semi Manual speaks to the complex relationship of the body, the tool, and the systems that bind them.
